We first set off to Rodeo Drive, and had our hire car valet parked which was a new experience, perhaps they thought we were going to buy something! I’m sure our car wasn’t a patch on the several Lamborghini’s and Bugatti which were parked along Roedo Drive.
We window shopped in Rodeo Drive and from there we joined one of the ‘Homes of the stars’ Tours! We joined a tour with about 5 others, all eager and nosey to see celebs houses. And what amazing houses they have and all quite different, Lionel Ritchie, Elizabeth Taylor, The Beckham to name but a few as well as Simon Cowell’s newly built house. Some very exclusive homes in Bel Air, much more private, also the house used in the series ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air. We also saw Michael Jackson’s house were he died earlier in the year.
We then headed to Hollywood, we were so glad we had been on the stars homes tour as everyone seemed to be selling the tour and it was quite a drive from there so we would of wasted time getting there. We wandered through Hollywood which was very tourist, The Hollywood and Highland Center had great view of the Hollywood. We also saw the hand prints at Grauman’s Chinese Theater and the stars in the pavement on the Hollywood walk of fame. There wasn’t much more there and it was pretty tacky and cheap.
